We have been using Able Westchem for a few years now. Products are great and locally made. Staff are helpful and our account manager, Tom even delivers our orders himself. Excellent Service.

Ordered some Acetic Acid 75% from here. Their web site jauntily claims White vinegar is typically a 4% solution of Acetic Acid so Acetic Acid 75% is ~19 times stronger but certainly not 19 times the price". Able Westchem's acetic acid CERTAINLY IS 19 X THE PRICE of ordinary vinegar! The falseness of their claim was revealed when they added a whopping $53.50 dangerous goods surcharge AFTER I'D PAID. At no point during the transaction was this huge surcharge added to the Basket or at Checkout. I searched the website afterwards and found one instance of it mentioned

I brought AWC in to handle my company's chemical needs for a particularly large Food manufacturing company. While I admire their chemicals (particularly the Comet which has an inhibiting agent to protect my assets) its more the way they see the big picture which drives me to leave this review.From ensuring we're using the right equipment to clean, installing bunded tanks to replace disposable containers, highlighting existing risk and educating staff I couldnt recommend them more.Generally in business though it comes down to the bottom line and here they didnt fail to deliver either - AWC reduced my chemical spend and instigated tangible savings on water, energy and labour that exceeded even the chemical budget itself. Top marks alround.

This is not a scam review!!! No amount of money would make me take down this review as i want people to know that the owner of this company is rude and a bully, the way he treats and speaks to his staff is disgusting and to try and cover a bad review by saying its a scam shows what they are like.Absolutely would never recommend this company to anyone.
